"Healthy Habits"

Most people usually go for a quick fix or a new start, but their mind is set to achieve these results within a specific timeline. Because of this, our focus is to get fast results. It becomes a task to get it done soon and get back to previous habits. So when we stop, our results slowly fade and we get back to our old self. So we keep on our yo-yo cycle.

The best way is to follow healthy habits is to go one step at a time, this will help us learn and adapt to the healthy habits. Eating healthy can bring permanent changes and can be made as a new daily routine, we should workout at least 2-3 days a week, we should avoid sugar and other processed food items. Moreover, we should also start to lift weights. If you need to add more supplements, don’t feel guilty about it. Because everybody is different. and we have to embrace our journey.

Most common mistake, we only focus on the number on the scale. So when we don’t see big drops on the scale, we get demotivated and then we give up. Instead, we need to focus on non-scale victories. For an example, we may be able to wear our old clothes, glowing skin, more energetic, feeling lighter, happier, stronger etc. These are all signs that we are on the right track.

Although, this doesn’t mean we cannot enjoy our favorite foods. We can always have it occasionally.
