Untreated bacterial vaginosis (BV) can lead to more than just ongoing discomfort. Persistent symptoms, a higher risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and pelvic infections are some possible complications.

During pregnancy, untreated BV has also been linked to risks such as preterm labor, premature rupture of membranes, low birth weight, and postpartum uterine infections.

If you notice unusual symptoms, seeking medical care early can help protect your health and wellbeing.

For appointments, reach out to SRH Clinic at 7976326 or visit SHE Building (1st Floor) from 8:30 to 14:00.
