MHSC was formed to cater to the health care needs of not only Male’ city but also the community at large as it is the major health care corporation in the country catering to approximately sixty percent of the population of Maldives. With a bigger mandate of running 5 service centers that comprise of the only tertiary care hospital (IGMH) in Maldives, MHSC is dedicated to develop and deliver quality health care services to its customers. MHSC comprises of 5 Health Centers inclusive of Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), Male Health Center (MHC), Hulhumale Hospital (HMH), Villingili Health Center (VHC) and National Thalassaemia Centre (NTC). MHSC is entering into its second year as a corporation and is still in the process of achieving major structural changes. Being relatively new as a corporation with a bigger role to play in health care services, MHSC has worked towards laying the foundation to achieve its set goals and objectives. This Corporation is committed in bringing patient care excellence by achieving and maintaining high standards of health care services.
