Located in the capital of Lhaviyani Atoll, Lhaviyani Atoll Hospital (LHAH) is a government administrated health establishment that serves the island of Naifaru, the whole of Lhaviyani atoll and other surrounding atolls. Our mission is to ensure nation’s participation in attaining excellence in quality health services, in an affordable, equitable and accessible manner leading to a healthy population.

We are pleased to inform that the operation theater services at our hospital have now been fully restored. After the recent maintenance work and the installation of new machinery, our operation theater is ready to serve from 21 September 2025.
We would like to extend our gratitude to the Ministry of Health for their invaluable support in facilitating the acquisition and installation of the necessary equipment. We are sincerely express our gratitude and acknowledge the assistance and cooperation received from The Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Resources, Honorable Ahmed Shiyam, and The Member of Parliament for Naifaru constituency, Yaaseen Abdulla in accelerating the process of bringing the theater into operation.
We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during the temporary disconnection of our operation theater’s services.
