On this day, 28 September, I drove from from LL to BT, picked a Hydrogeologist in BT, drove to Zomba, climbed up over 1,500 masl on Malosa Hill, surveyed the Zomba East WUA intake, and then had to drive the team back to BT. This was one of my toughest activity since the surgery, was panting due to poor fitness, there was some pain on the knees and I was afraid I may slip and fall. But... Jesus carried me, even crossing rivers and jumping on rocks. This is pretty much my 2025... the Lord has carried me and it has been a good year.

Koma izi sizikufunika ndizachitenso, whatever is in the knees is not permanent!

What are you thankful for?

Me... I can walk. Simple!

Also me... God has kept me long enough...after 3 years I have visited the district and slept at the lodge I stayed 2 days before my accident. Am kind of emotional.

He is a good God!

I will soon be home, sleep a bit, bath, return the car at 8, then finish the report. I smiled as I steered the grey D4D pickup truck.

And then it is blank.
..All I remember is being asked by a stranger. “You have been involved in an accident… whom can we call?”

….

This is my story. On this date three years ago my life changed. Stayed for 14 months on a wheelchair until you made it possible to go to India for surgery. With your support we fundraised through this page and now Precious walks.

I can not thank you enough... God bless you abundantly.

I think it is now time to write another story… maybe not just my story…maybe fundraise for another person… we just have to write something. This is why the name of the page has been changed.

I have been thinking about closing this page for sometime now. For almost a year haven't posted anything.

But then I see these views...sometimes comments.
..this is where my story is well documented. A story of dispare, hope... When things are not working I do come back to check. Ambuye anandichotsa mudzenje kundiyika apo. He loves me, yes I know.

Now what do we do with the page? Let's figure out together.

For now know that am fine... I can walk for about 3 km with no issues. I can drive from BT to LL and back. Yes sometimes the knee burn, sometimes the legs hurt but am fine. There are some issues, which am dealing with from the accident but they are minor.

The question is what do we do with the page? It's powerful we managed to raise over MWK 2 Million direct from here from people who had never heard about me before. That's not a small thing. For sure we have to keep it. Let's figure out together how the page can help others.

Today marks exactly, 3 months since my knees surgery. Well, we are now past walking...we are dancing.

Grateful for you all. When I gave up you gave me hope and made it possible for me to access surgery in India. I thank God for your existence and love.

Its not over... when God is in it,
Now learning how to walk.
I am back in Malawi, I arrived last week.
I arrived a little sick from the pain and long trip.
But now am better.
Thank you for all the support when I was in India.

FEELING THANKFUL
Had sutures removed yesterday…wound healed properly.
Inside the knees, healing is also progressing well.
Just have to continue with physiotherapy and exercises to strengthen the knees.
Then we will walk again.
GOD IS GOOD!
