End-of-Year Message – 2025
SmartCare Nutrition Consultancy

As we come to the close of 2025, I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been part of the SmartCare Nutrition Consultancy journey. This year has been a remarkable chapter of growth, recognition, resilience, and impact.

In 2025, SmartCare Nutrition Consultancy strengthened its commitment to improving nutrition, health, and food security in Malawi and beyond. Through nutrition consultations, community nutrition education, therapeutic meal planning, and public health advocacy, we continued to place people at the center of everything we do.

One of our proudest achievements this year was the continued development and national recognition of the Thanzi Nutrition Project, including Thanzi Sorghum Flour, a locally driven solution addressing malnutrition using affordable Malawian food systems. The project gained strong visibility and credibility, positioning SmartCare as a social enterprise committed to sustainable nutrition innovation.

We are deeply honored that our work received regional and international recognition in 2025. SmartCare leadership was recognized through:

•Nomination for FOYA Global – Healthpreneur of the Year (Africa)

•Selection among Outstanding Change Makers for the 2025–2026 Emerging Innovators & Mentorship Cohort at the Manson Institute for Leadership Education (MILE)

•An award from Nutrition Television (Nigeria) for contribution to nutrition and public health

•Selection of the Thanzi Nutrition innovation among top competitive projects, highlighting its potential to transform lives

This year also marked progress in partnerships, professional visibility, and strategic positioning of SmartCare as a trusted nutrition consultancy delivering evidence-based, culturally appropriate, and locally sourced nutrition solutions.

None of these achievements would have been possible without the trust of our clients, the dedication of our consultants, the support of partners, mentors, and institutions, and the encouragement of communities we serve.

As we step into 2026, our vision remains clear:
to expand access to quality nutrition services, scale innovative nutrition products, strengthen community resilience, and contribute meaningfully to national and global nutrition goals.
