CHOOSE TO CONCEIVE A BOY OR A GIRL CHILD

Many are the times people want to get what they want, but lesser are the chances for them to achieve the actual desire, either they played a game of chance or they have full knowledge on that, so it depends. In s*xual reproductive health, there are several mysterious concerns too silent for answers, like issues to choose whether to conceive a boy or girl child.

Basically we must understand that a man and a woman are anatomically and physiologically different, A male has a pair of xy chromosomes while a female carries xx.
The x s***m represent female and the y represent a boy.

These x and y s***ms have different characteristics, for example the x s***m has a life span of atleast 120hrs while the y has 72hrs.In terms of speed, the y runs faster than the x, and finally the x is bigger in size than the y.

The above differences are most important to consider when you want to conceive a child of your choice when all factors are costant.

You must also know the menstrual circle of your partner, females have different menstrual circles, Commonly we have 14, 28 and 35days circle.
We must also know that when females born, they naturally born with ova in their ovaries.when they attain puberty they start ovulating, this is the release of a mature o**m in readiness for fertilisation. Now this ovulation is on 14th day if your circle is 28days and 15th day if your circle is 35days.

Some studies have shown that,A man who has abstained from s*x for about 72hrs,when he has s*x with the female 120hrs before ovulation, chances are high to conceive a girl child,This means that days 3,2,1 to ovulation, increase chances to conceive the boy child if we use the factor of speed.

5 days before ovulation, y s***m dies within 3 days increasing chances of conceiving a girl child. But on day 3,2,1 the probability of conceiving a boy increases because of the speed of the y s***m and its lightness. In addition to that deep pe*******on also increases chances of a boy child,The distance is reduced and since y s***m is faster, then likely it will be the first to fertilize the released o**m.

TIPS FOR REDUCING STRESS

Stress Management

Stress Reduction Checklist

Stress is part of being human, and it can help motivate you to get things done. Even high stressfrom serious illness, job loss, a death in the family, or a painful life event can be a natural part of life. You may feel down or anxious, and that’s normal too for a while.

Talk to your doctor if you feel down or anxious for more than several weeks or if it starts to interfere with your home or work life. Therapy, medication, and other strategies can help.

In the meantime, there are things you can learn to help you manage stress before it gets to be too much. These tips may help you keep stress at bay:

Keep a positive attitude.

Accept that there are events that you cannot control.

Be assertive instead of aggressive. Assert your feelings, opinions, or beliefs instead of becoming angry, defensive, or passive.

Learn to manage your time more effectively.

Set limits appropriately and say no to requests that would create excessive stress in your life.

Make time for hobbies and interests.

Don't rely on alcohol, drugs, or compulsive behaviors to reduce stress. Drugs and alcohol can stress your body even more.

Seek out social support. Spend enough time with those you love.

Seek treatment with a psychologist or other mental health professional trained in stress management or biofeedback techniques to learn more healthy ways of dealing with the stress in your life.

There’s a lot more you can do to help manage stress. Consider these lifestyle changes:

Exercise

To start with, physical activity can help improve your sleep. And better sleep means better stress management. Doctors don’t yet know exactly why, but people who exercise more tend to get better deep “slow wave” sleep that helps renew the brain and body. Just take care not to exercise too close to bedtime, which disrupts sleep for some people.

Exercise also seems to help mood.

WHO recommends two new drugs to treat COVID-19
14 January 2022 Statement Geneva Reading time: 1 min (365 words)
WHO has recommended two new drugs for COVID-19, providing yet more options for treating the disease. The extent to which these medicines will save lives depends on how widely available and affordable they will be.

The first drug, baricitinib, is strongly recommended for patients with severe or critical COVID-19. It is part of a class of drugs called Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors that suppress the overstimulation of the immune system. WHO recommends that it is given with corticosteroids.

Baricitinib is an oral drug, used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. It provides an alternative to other arthritis drugs called Interleukin-6 receptor blockers, recommended by WHO in July 2021.

WHO has also conditionally recommended the use of a monoclonal antibody drug, sotrovimab, for treating mild or moderate COVID-19 in patients who are at high risk of hospitalization. This includes patients who are older, immunocompromised, having underlying conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and obesity, and those unvaccinated.

Sotrovimab is an alternative to casirivimab-imdevimab, a monoclonal antibody cocktail recommended by WHO in September 2021. Studies are ongoing on the effectiveness of monoclonal antibodies against Omicron but early laboratory studies show that sotrovimab retains its activity.

The panel of experts developing the guidelines also looked at two other drugs for severe and critical COVID-19: ruxolitinib and tofacitinib. Given their uncertain effects, WHO made a conditional recommendation against their use.

Today’s recommendations, forming the eighth update of WHO’s living guidelines on therapeutics and COVID-19, are based on evidence from seven trials involving over 4,000 patients with non-severe, severe, and critical COVID-19.

WHO is in discussions with manufacturers to secure global supply capacity and equitable and sustainable access to the newly recommended therapeutics. The Access to COVID-19 Tools Accelerator (ACT-A) Therapeutics pillar has been engaging with pharmaceutical companies to seek comprehensive access plans for low- and middle-income countries, so that these treatments can be rapidly deployed everywhere, not just in rich countries. The ACT-A is also looking to expand licensing scope to make the products more affordable.

The two newly recommended drugs - baricitinib and sotrovimab - have been invited for WHO Prequalification, which assesses the quality, efficacy and safety of priority health products to increase access in lower income countries.
