However exposing your crude oil to temperatures around 115degree celsius activates the cannabinoids to active form i.e THC and CBD respectively. Our endocannabinoid system responds to activated cannabinoids for recreation or medical purposes
The process of activating cannabinoids im crude oil or cannabis flower is called Decarboxylation and the process produces carbon dioxide gas

trichomes turn completely to yellow while some of them could still be milky with slight golden hue. You need to wait until 70% of trichomes have turned amber to get higher concentration of CBD and THC. This is the best time for harvest
