𝗟𝗨𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗥 𝗔𝗟𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁!

Meet Dr. Vincent Oscar Kachisi,

Dr. Vincent Oscar Kachisi holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine from LUANAR, Bunda Campus (Class of 2022), and a Diploma in Information and Communication Technology from Soche Technical College.

Immediately after graduation, he worked as a science teacher, teaching Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Studies at Excel Private Secondary School and Chisapi Girls Secondary School. At the same time, he served as a private veterinarian, working with pet owners and livestock farmers in Blantyre.

In May 2023, Dr. Kachisi joined Worldwide Veterinary Services as a Veterinary Surgeon under Blantyre SPCA and Mission Rabies.

In February 2024, he registered and opened a small animal clinic under the name Pet Planet Veterinary Clinic – Malawi, one of the few small animal practices in the country.

Dr. Vincent Kachisi is the founder of Pet Planet Veterinary Clinic – Malawi and currently practices as a small animal veterinarian based in Blantyre, offering services within the city and surrounding areas. Studying Veterinary Medicine at Bunda has enabled him to contribute to animal welfare and public health through the prevention and control of animal diseases, most of which are zoonotic.

The new semester has just begun, but for our dedicated 4th-year vet students, it was straight to work! 🐴💉 On the very first day, they were out in the field providing essential donkey treatment—ensuring these hardworking animals receive the care they deserve.

A true testament to the hands-on nature of veterinary medicine! Here’s to a semester filled with learning, experience, and making a difference.
