📍 The Good Vision Malawi 4-Day National Workshop is underway!

Coordinators, management, employees, and key stakeholders are currently engaging in discussions to reflect on 2025 achievements, plan 2026 priority projects, strengthen operations and coordination, and build stronger partnerships with NGOs, Government, and Business.

During the opening session, International Country Coordinator Marc Zeldre urged participants to be proactive, take ownership, and drive implementation with accountability.

This ongoing workshop is a key step in strengthening Good Vision Malawi’s capacity, improving eye health service delivery, and supporting a more responsive health sector across Malawi.

👧👦 School Screenings: 5,940
🤝 Community Outreaches Conducted: 51
👓 Glasses Distributed: 1,976

School visits and community outreaches were conducted to provide much-needed eye health services.

This enables children to learn better in school and allows adults to have the strength to move on with their lives.

🌟 Good Vision Malawi and World Vision Malawi: A Partnership for Brighter Learning! 🌟

Good Vision Malawi has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with World Vision Malawi to initiate a game-changing Schools Eye Health Project to deliver the gift of clear sight to children throughout the country! 👓🤝

When children struggle to see the board, read books, or recognize faces, their education and confidence suffer. By protecting and improving children’s eye health, we are helping these kids to reach their full potential in school and in life.

At Good Vision, we provide children with the opportunity to study better, dream bigger, and live well by keeping their eyes healthy. 💙📖

With such a partnership, we will offer eye health education, early diagnosis of vision issues, and eyeglasses manufactured here in Malawi.

Glasses are not simply medical devices; they enable children to participate in the classroom fully and deliver their optimum performance.

We both strive to provide equal access to education to all students, including those who have vision challenges.

The project will target 20 districts in Malawi and enable the children to read with a vision and learn without any hindrance.

One day, we will have a future when all children have a chance to see, learn, and succeed! 🌍✨
