We’re at the KUHeS Research Dissemination Meeting 2025 — let’s connect!
This conference is Malawi’s leading platform for innovative research and transformative discussions. We’re especially proud that one of our partners, Prof. Melissa Gladstone, Professor of Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics, is keynote speaker.
Curious how our Early Intervention Project is empowering health workers to provide early childhood care and transforming care for children with disabilities? Come meet Joseph Mkandawire and Martine van Eijk this Friday, 10:30–11:30 in the Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health poster section. We’d love to exchange ideas and insights.
What we’re sharing:
✅ Developmental monitoring was welcomed by health workers, managers and caregivers.
✅ Some practical challenges remain, especially around time and system capacity.
✅ Participants recommended scale-up, along with investment in capacity building, infrastructure, referral systems and continued adaptation to local needs.
And that is exactly the direction we’re heading.
Let us know if you’ll be there — we’d be happy to connect!
