On your healing journey, one of the things you will learn is to stop over explaining but most people wonder what that would sound like in real life.
Saying what you need without over-explaining sounds like:
✅️"I need a little extra patience today."
✅️"I don't feel like talking about what happened, but I'd
appreciate some company."
✅️"I need a minute to think before I respond,"
✅️"I could really use a hug.
✅️ "Can you check in with me about this tomorrow?'
✅️"I don't know what I want yet; please don't rush me.'
✅️"I need some space to think this through,"
✅️"Are you free to talk through my options?"
✅️"Unfortunately I'm not available."
