CLIENT SERVICES SUPERVISOR

Mwaiwathu Private Hospital invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Client Services Supervisor tenable at the Hospital along Chileka Road in Blantyre.

Position Context
Reporting to the Client Services Manager, the Client Services Supervisor will ensure that the Front Desk always provides professional and friendly services to clients and other stakeholders.

Specific duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• To prepare monthly duty rosters.
• To ensure clients records and data are maintained
• To prepare monthly reports on time.
• To ensure claim forms are checked and verified.
• To ensure clients are assisted with zero complaint.
• To ensure medical insurance requirements are complied with.

Educational Qualifications and Experience
• Diploma in Front Office Management, Hospitality Management or any related field
• MSCE preferably with a credit in English and Mathematics.
• Must have at least two years’ experience in a similar role.
• Ability to speak Portuguese fluently will be an added advantage

Requisite knowledge, abilities and skills
• Good technical skills
• Comfortable in a lab environment
• Documentation and record keeping skills
• Analytical skills
• Ability to maintain confidential information

The Position
Reporting to the Housekeeping and Catering Supervisor, the Housekeeper will be responsible for the provision of housekeeping services and other areas decided by the supervisor.

📋 Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities (which include, but are not limited to):
• Clean and sanitize rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming and cleaning bathrooms
• Replenish room supplies such as towels, toiletries and other amenities
• Replace linens and towels, ensuring they meet Lodge standards of cleanliness
• Report any maintenance or repair issues in rooms to the maintenance department
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies to ensure rooms are safe and hygienic •
• Respond to guest requests for additional supplies or services promptly and courteously
• Adhere to established cleaning procedures and timelines to ensure rooms are prepared before check-in

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• Malawi School Certificate of Education
• Those with a Certificate in Housekeeping /Hotel Management from a recognised college will have added advantage
• At least two years post qualification experience
• Strong attention to detail to ensure rooms are thoroughly cleaned and stocked
• Sober and team player with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Strick adherence our Vulnerable Adult and Child Protection Policy

• Responsible for all kitchen operations and ensure adherence to the Service policies, procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain the highest standards of food preparation, presentation and service to meet Brothers/guest expectations.
• Taking stock of ingredients and equipment, and placing orders to replenish.
• Able to enforce safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
• Capacity to create new recipes to keep the menu fresh.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• Malawi School Certificate of Education
• Diploma in Food production, Hotel Management and Catering from a recognized tertiary education institution
• Those with Advanced Certificate in Hotel Management and Catering from a recognized institution with at least 5 years work experience will have added advantage

POST: PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (2)

The ideal candidates must have an MSCE and a Diploma in Pharmacy or its equivalent with at least three years’ experience at Pharmacy Technician level in an organization involved in managing pharmaceutical products. Preference will be given to those with a proven track record in a warehousing and distribution of pharmaceutical products environment.

Reporting to the Pharmacy Logistics Manager, the successful person will be responsible for-

Ensuring regulatory compliance of warehouse operations including receiving and storage and real time documentation.
Supervising the encoding/updating of all pharmaceutical stock movements (receipts, returns, adjustments issues) in management information system (MIS).
Supervising and monitoring of warehouse activities and processes to ensure efficient inventory management, order fulfilliment and shipment of pharmaceutical products
Checking and approving all receipt of pharmaceutical products generated from MIS
Organizing the picking, packing and dispatching of pharmaceutical products according to the distribution schedule.
Inspecting the approval or rejection of distribution vehicles based on season and suitability of vehicles to ensure compliance with set standards.
Performing regular stock physical count and stock status report with relevant authorities
Applicants must be registered with Pharmacy & Medicines Regulatory Authority with no sanctions. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is a pre-requisite for this position. Those having knowledge of pharmacy computer systems will have an added advantage. Ability to work with minimum supervision will be preferred
