“Chavurah,” translated as “fellowship,” is derived from the Hebrew root for “friend” or “friendship”. In this spirit, being a part of Chavurat Beyachad means we strive to support each other in times of difficulty and to celebrate with each other in times of joy. All are welcome, regardless of where you are in your personal or Judaic journey! Whether you have never been observant or you want to gain a greater appreciation of the richness of the Jewish tradition. We exude a “Haimish” atmosphere that reflects personal warmth and an extended family feeling. Our Chavurah, with its strong sense of community, is especially appealing to those who wish to gain an adult understanding of Judaism and to parents who want to provide their children with a positive sense of Jewish identity.
