Dr. Hector Haro is an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist serving patients in the Chapala Lake Area at Hospital San Antonio. Dr. Haro focuses on treating both acute and chronic injuries to the hand, elbow, shoulder and knee. He graduated from the University of Guadalajara (UdeG) and did his orthopedic surgery residency in Mexico City. After which Dr. Haro completed a sports medicine

Frozen shoulder is a progressive and usually self-limited condition hallmarked by pain and stiffness in the shoulder joint.

Diabetes, hypothyroidism and even menopause might be linked to it!

Tears of the rotator cuff are a common cause of shoulder pain in the adult population. A tear in the rotator cuff will cause weakness and pain with movements of your arm over your head.

In some cases the tendons have their normal “wear and tear” that comes with aging and a fall or a sudden movement may rupture the remaining tendon.

It is of upmost importance to have a consultation by your orthopedic surgeon if you have shoulder pain for its proper treatment.
