PRIMAVERA ( Nueva Vida )
La dirección hacia la que miramos es el Este, el guardián es el Águila. El que tiene ojos que ven lejos Sabiduría y Conocimiento. La Primavera es el tiempo de nuevos pensamientos, puntos de vista, creencias, ideas, nuevas formas de ser, nuevos comportamientos. El tiempo de la nueva vida. Este es el tiempo en que nos abrimos a estas nuevas comprensiones. Este es nuestro enfoque.
VERANO ( Crecimiento )
La dirección hacia la que miramos es el Sur. Los guardianes son el Ratoncito Gris, ella es la que nos enseña sobre nuestro mundo interior y exterior. Mientras viaja por la Sagrada Madre Tierra en busca de comida y un refugio seguro para sus pequeños, debe ser consciente de las sombras que la cubren. Estas sombras le crean miedo y ansiedad. Sin embargo, esto no la disuade de hacer lo que debe hacer por su familia y sus seres queridos.
La Loba Negra es la que nos enseña el modo de vida matriarcal. Es ella quien es el Alfa de la manada no el macho. El macho tiene el derecho de procrear, sin embargo, tiene que luchar por ese derecho todos los días. Ella es la que posee todas las enseñanzas de sus antepasados, la que sabe dónde están todas las guaridas seguras para la próxima generación. Ella es la que decide cuándo la familia se trasladará y cazará. Ella es la que elige con quién se encontrarán los cachorros y quién los vigilará y protegerá cuando salgan de caza. Es la época del crecimiento. El tiempo en el que uno practica todo lo que ha aprendido en primavera. Así es como crecemos.
TIEMPO DE OTOÑO ( Cosecha )
La dirección hacia la que miramos es el Oeste. Los guardianes son la Osa Negra de la Medicina (Mukwa = Nacida de la Medicina) Ella es la guardiana y protectora de todas las medicinas aquí en la Sagrada Madre Tierra. Ella es la que nos enseña sobre la introspección y la protección.
Los Truenos nos traen el Agua Sagrada de la vida. Se dice que el trueno es la Nación Búfalo corriendo a través de los cielos para forzar al Agua Sagrada de la vida a regresar a la Sagrada Madre Tierra. La Iluminación viene de los ojos del Pájaro del Trueno lejos de purificar a la Sagrada Madre Tierra con fuego para prepararla para las próximas dos estaciones que siguen. Este es el tiempo en que cosechamos las enseñanzas que recibimos de la estación de crecimiento. Para integrar esas enseñanzas de nuevos pensamientos opiniones creencias ideas nuevas formas de ser comportamientos que recibimos del tiempo de Primavera.
TIEMPO DE INVIERNO ( Descanso )
La dirección hacia la que miramos es el Norte. La Guardiana de esta dirección es la Mujer Becerro de Búfalo Blanco. Ella es la que nos trajo el regalo de las ceremonias Las Chanupas (P**a Sagrada) que está unida a todas nuestras ceremonias El Inipi (Albergue del Sudor) La mayoría de edad (Cuando nuestras hermanas hijas se convierten en mujeres) Hanbleycha ( Llorando por una Visión ) La Guarda de los Espíritus El Juego de Pelota La Ceremonia Yuipi, Ceremonia Sundance. Nos enseña sobre la purificación. Nuestro enfoque aquí es poner a descansar Viejos pensamientos puntos de vista creencias ideas viejas formas de ser que han sido reemplazadas con lo nuevo que hemos recibido practicado y cosechado. Muy parecido a cuando la Sagrada Madre Tierra descansa con su manta blanca hasta que regresamos al Tiempo de Primavera.
Estas enseñanzas les pertenecen a ustedes mis Hermanas y Hermanos Irlandeses. Se las ofrecemos desde ese lugar de amor y bondad por la humanidad. SPRINGTIME ( New Life )
The direction we face to is East the guardian is the Eagle. The one with far seeing eyes Wisdom and Knowledge. The Springtime is the time of new thoughts views beliefs ideas new ways of being new behaviours. The time of new life. This is the time we open ourselves to these new understandings. This is our focus.
SUMMERTIME ( Growth )
The direction we face to is the South. The gaurdians are the Little Gray Mouse she is the one who teaches us about our inner and outer world As she journeys on Sacred Mother Earth to forage for food and safe haven for her little ones she must be mindful of the shadows overhead. These shadows create fear and anxiety for her . However it does not deter her from doing what needs to be done for her family her loved ones.
The Black Wolf she is the one that teaches us of the matriarchal way of life. It she who is the Alpha of the pack not the male. The male has the rite to procreate however he needs to fight for that rite everyday. She is the one who possesses all the teachings from her ancestors, the one who knows where all the safe dens are for the the next generation. She is the one who decides when the family will move and hunt. She is the one who chooses who the cubs will meet and who will watch and protect them when they go on the hunt. This is the time of growth. The time one practices all of the new learnings from the spring time . This is how we grow.
FALL TIME ( Harvest )
The direction we face is the West. The guardians are the Medicine Black Bear (Mukwa = Born of the Medicine ) She is the keeper and protector of all medicines here on Sacred Mother Earth. She is the one who teaches us about introspection and protection.
The Thunderbeings the bring us that Sacred Water of life. It is said that the thunder is the Buffalo Nation running across the skies to force the Sacred Water of life to return to Sacred Mother Earth. The Lighting comes from the eyes of the Thunderbird away of purifying Sacred Mother Earth with fire to prepare her for the next two seasons that follow. This is the time that we harvest the teachings we received from the season of growth. To integrate those teachings of new thoughts views beliefs ideas new ways of being behaviours we received from the Spring time.
WINTER TIME ( Rest )
The direction we face is the North. The Gaurdian of this direction is the White Buffalo Calf Woman. She is the one who brought us the gift of ceremonies The Chanupas (Sacred Pipe ) which is attached to all our ceremonies The Inipi (Sweatlodge) Coming of Age (When our sisters daughters become a woman) Hanbleycha ( Crying for a Vision ) The Keeping of Spirits The Ball Game The Yuipi Ceremony, Sundance Ceremony. She teaches us about purification. Our focus here is to put to rest Old thoughts views beliefs ideas old ways of being that have been replaced with the new we received practiced and harvested. Much like when Sacred Mother Earth rests with her white blanket until we return to the Spring Time.
These teachings belong to you my Irish Sisters and Brothers. We offer them to you from that place of love and kindness for humanity.
