When clients come for a Tarot or Akashic reading, some of their questions sound like this:
• “Should I stay or leave my partner?”• “Can I buy a new house?”• “Is it okay if I go on this trip?”• “Will I ever get married?”• “What do they say about [insert topic]—is it alright?”
I get it when life gets hard (which seems to be always), we crave clear guidance. That’s fine, that’s what the readings are for.
However, make sure you are not handing over your power just because you are feeling a little wobbly. Instead, take the time to sit with yourself before your reading. If you do, you might walk away with more than just clarity.
So, whether you are booking your first reading or have done this several times, make sure you take a moment before the session to reflect:
1. Do you feel like the creator of your life, a participant, or a bystander?
2. Go over your questions. What emotions and beliefs arise when you ask them?
3. Ask yourself: Are you using the reading as a way to bring clarity on what to you, or as a way to outsource your choices?
Once you have reflected on how you feel, go over your questions again. Look for power leaks and reframe.
🔄 Instead of asking, “Will I ever get married?” try:
“If I want to get married, what should I do?”
🔄 Instead of, “Should I stay or leave my partner?” try:
“What’s in the highest good—for both of us—whether I stay or go?”“If I choose to stay, what needs our attention? If I choose to leave, how can I do that with compassion?”
These shifts move you from spectator to co‑creator of your life.
And if you are not sure how to reframe your questions for empowerment, no worries, we can work on them together.
