At just 6 months old, we discovered that Bhavya was unable to hear. After exploring options, we chose to move forward with a cochlear implant from Advanced Bionics when he was just 2 years old. He received the first implant and, a year later, the second. Today, at 5 years old, Bhavya speaks clearly and confidently thanks to the cochlear implants. His life is now much like any other child's.
