Every Peso raised goes directly to the 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 (a not-for-profit / Asociación Civil), with all funds managed by professional accountants in La Paz. These funds are used to pay the paramedics' salaries and cover operating costs for the ambulance, including gas and medical supplies.⁣

We’ve received some great questions about the LV/ES ambulance service and our membership options. Here’s everything you need to know:

Do I need a membership in case of an emergency?
❌ No, you don’t need a membership to use the LV/ES ambulance.
✅ However, a membership can save you money and gives you access to life-saving services when you need them most.

What are the fees for ambulance services?
All fees are listed on our website, and we’ve attached an image with the full fee schedule (in Pesos) for your convenience.

What are the benefits of a membership?
Members get 5 services included with their family membership, with 2 transport trips to La Paz hospitals.
For example: If you need an ambulance, pain meds, and transport to the hospital in La Paz as a non-member, it’ll cost you 8,000 Pesos (1,000 + 1,500 + 5,500).
As a member, all of this is covered for just 2,500 Pesos. One trip to the hospital could save you more than the cost of your membership!
Additional Benefits of Membership
Your membership helps keep our highly trained paramedics available 24/7, 365 days a year. It also helps us provide better services to the whole community at lower costs.
