What good is health if it doesn’t lead us to serve others? What good is a strong body if I don’t use it to care for my kids? And what good is a garden if I ignore my friends struggle of putting food on their table? Oh, would we not be selfish with our resources but use them for the sake of community and love - something I’ve thought about a lot these past couple weeks as my fam is thinking of what our life together should look like!

Been on my list forever (literally for years) to start making my own elderberry syrup. I realized I had next to nothing to support my fam during this rough winter. We’ve never dealt with much sickness until now and all of a sudden my son’s been sick four times this winter 🤪 Elderberry is rich in antioxidants and great for supporting the immune system!

Let this be an encouragement to try something new to support you or your family! Whatever it is, it’s prob a lot simpler than ya think ☺️

Tbh things like grounding, gentle exercise, & sunlight on my eyes help IMMENSELY after a night of poor sleep, but the thing that’s has helped the absolute most is just to realize it’s OKAY to be tired. It’s okay to have a harder day. I don’t have to be bitter that my sick toddler kept me up all night. Everyone knows sleep is important but what’s worse than a sleepless night is a sleepless night accompanied by an angry attitude 😅 Put some cozy music on and do the best ya can!!
