To the men who know how to hold space —
who can be a safe, steady container for the strong, wild feminine and the emotions that sometimes erupt from her…
even when every suggestion you offer is met with rebuttal (because she’s probably already thought of it — or just needs real support to follow through)…
and especially when you know you may never be with her physically —
THANK YOU.
To the men who call out their brothers
when they hear talk of taking advantage of women…
who challenge the reflex to label a strong, assertive woman a bitch…
who speak up about the pay gap that still exists…
who refuse to mock tears or deep emotion —
THANK YOU.
To the men who understand that crying, patient listening,
affection without sexual agenda,
cooking, cleaning, care, and kindness
are not “pansy” traits that make them less of a man —
THANK YOU.
To the men who create safe, grounded, protective spaces
for those less fortunate or less physically capable —
women, children, the elderly, the disabled —
THANK YOU.
To every human who knows war is not the way…
who remembers that cooperation, community, and collaboration
have carried our species further than competition and corporate control ever have —
THANK YOU.
To those who honor the feminine within themselves
as equally powerful as the masculine…
who recognize that the conflict we see in the world
often mirrors the conflict within…
who remember we are human beings, not human doings —
THANK YOU.
To those who have looked deeply enough to see
that our HIStory was always woven
by men and women of every color —
even when the record books told a smaller story…
to those who know healthy masculinity does not require dominance —
THANK YOU.
To those who see through the programming…
who know “daddy” doesn’t always know best…
who understand that outsourcing your power
to some old man in a big office with a polished title
will never save us…
who are quietly building self-sufficient, cooperative ways forward —
THANK YOU.
This is the work.
This is how the old systems begin to fall and new, cooperative systems rise in their place, built from the ground up, not the top down.
This is how we heal what has hurt us all for far too long.
..And to every man who has ever pushed a woman a little farther than she wanted to go in the bedroom...
who has coerced intimacy through pressure, power, or manipulation…
who talks over women to prove he knows better,
often while doing very little to truly help…
who is so disconnected from his own feelings and shadows
that genuine empathy remains out of reach…
To the developers and business leaders
still ra**ng and pillaging Mother Earth
for profit and perpetual power…
To anyone who knowingly props up systems of dominance and control
simply because they benefit from them —
F**K. YOU.
UP AND DOWN THE BLOCK, SEVEN WAYS FROM SUNDAY.
The longer you run from your own shadow,
the longer your unhealed wounds drive the wheel,
the more all of us suffer —
including you.
Because the tides are turning. Sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly but the tides always turn and karma is a "bitch."
The great shift is upon us...
Let go or be dragged.
