One of the hardest lessons in adulthood:

Some friendships are seasonal.

Not everyone is meant to stay forever…
and that doesn’t make the connection any less meaningful.

People enter our lives for different reasons:

• growth
• support
• lessons
• companionship during a specific chapter

And sometimes, the most emotionally healthy thing you can do…
is accept that the relationship has reached its natural end.

Letting go is not failure.
It’s awareness.

Outgrowing a friendship does not make you a bad person.

It means you are evolving.

Grief isn’t linear, and it doesn’t come with a timeline.

You might move through these stages in a different order, revisit some more than others, or feel multiple at once. And that’s okay.

There’s no “right” way to grieve. There’s only your way.

Many people say:

“Making friends as an adult is hard.”

And they are right.

Because adult friendships require something childhood friendships did not:

self-awareness.

As adults we bring:

• past wounds
• insecurities
• jealousy
• abandonment fears
• communication habits learned in childhood

Sometimes what we think is a friendship problem…

…is actually a healing problem.

Healthy friendships require two people who are willing to grow.
