September of 2021 I returned to Mazunte fresh off of my 29th birthday. I was happy to be back but also confused as to what I was doing with my life. I spoke with my mother and she said that I was too talented and clever to not be working, that I needed to figure out a way to channel my energy into something fruitful. After that conversation I reflected on how impacted I had felt every time I experienced a Cacao ceremony and decided that I would create my own ceremony. From this the Sacred Connections Ceremony was born. It took me a few weeks to refine the offering but now a year later I am happy to say that I have hosted this ceremony over 30 times in and out of Mazunte. I have served Cacao to over 1000 beautiful souls and now I am back in Mazunte to continue where this all began.
