Traveling abroad for surgery can be stressful. One of the biggest mistakes patients make when preparing for surgery is overpacking. Here is a list of things you might want to bring with you and thing you may need at home.

Items you may want to make sure you bring with you.

•hygiene travel kit (shampoo, toothpaste, hairbrush, hair ties, ect)
•tablet/phone/chargers
•bbl pillow
•feminine products of your on your cycle (pads/tampons)
•slippers (with rubber soles)
•compression socks (for travel back home)
•comfy clothes that are easy to put on and remove (Pack loose-fitting, mid-length clothing in dark colors that's easy to put on and take off, like button-up shirts or front-zippers. You can also bring a nightgown or pajamas, day clothes, clean underwear, and a dressing gown. Pack one to two changes per day you are staying)
•towels are provided at the clinic but you may bring your own
•bed pads for the ride back home
•patient’s guest needs to bring his/her own pillows and blankets

List of things you may need at home.
•gauze
•medical grade tape
•arnica tea/pills
•ginger & turmeric tea
•lymphatic support tea
•bbl pillow (if you have a bbl. Important tip: Boppy pillows are useless and won’t support your weight)
•antibiotics
•medication
•abdominal board (used under the faja)
•antiseptic spray (to clean wounds)
•foam boards
• 20ml syringes (10-15 pack for cleaning large drains)
•10ml syringes (10-5 pack for cleaning smaller drains)
