David Covarrubias has been DJing vinyl in Mexico City and beyond for the past 10 years. He curates the music program at Choza ( ), and his sets dive into the experimental side of groove sounds.

Expect an immaculate, expansive selection: from left-of-center disco and psychedelic afrobeat to instrumental funk, new wave sonidos, and genre-bending cuts that defy labels yet stay infinitely groovy. 🎛️

Jake Lindeman is the wine director and co-owner of .cdmx , the iconic all-day café and restaurant in Mexico City’s Colonia Juárez, and Escorpio, the city’s first all-natural wine shop.

He’s passionate about agave-based spirits, rum, and natural wine — and yes, he has very strong convictions about sandwiches.

This December, Jake brings his playful, thoughtful approach to Palapa Sessions #2 in Mazunte, curating natural wines, mezcal, cocktails, and more to pair with an unforgettable weekend of food, music, and learning.
