From its beginnings, the hospital has carried out actions to improve the quality of i
ts services. During the period between 1995 and 1998, it was recognized as a “Clean Company” by SEMARNAT (Secretariat of Environment and Natural Resources), and it was one of the first hospitals to comply with RPBI (Dangerous Biological-Infectious Residues) dispositions. Hospital Hispano Americano obtained a Certification from the General Board for Health Care Services from 2000 to 2004. In June of 2010, the hospital obtained the ISO 9001-2008 certification, being the first private hospital in the region to achieve it. The hospital is currently in the process of obtaining the certification by the new standards of authorized hospitals of the Joint Commission International of the General Board for Health Care
