Como profesionales de la salud, somos testigos del impacto de las inequidades en salud todos los días. Pero crear un cambio no tiene que ser un camino solitario.

Por eso creamos LATIDOS: Liderazgo y Acción para Transformar, Innovar y Defender la Organización en Salud: un programa gratuito, interactivo y en línea de 6 semanas, diseñado para brindar a profesionales de la salud las herramientas, el acompañamiento y las estrategias necesarias para liderar con impacto en el ámbito del activismo y de la organización comunitaria.

Este programa está dirigido a personas que están listas para pasar de la idea a la acción y liderar así el camino hacia la justicia en salud.

Such an honor to be part of this amazing team of dream makers!

We concluded 2022 with our very first LCN Hubs and Affiliate Organizations Meetup, which brought together our global community taking the organizing work forward in their own contexts, and we started to imagine what a network of these entities may achieve and aspire for.

This gave birth to the Hubs & Affiliate Organizations Network team - which is a mouthful, hence shortened to LCN Dream Makers! This team will be working with us in the coming year to determine the strategy for this Network and develop a purposeful leadership structure that stays connected to the local teams and envisions global impact. The Network is represented by LCN Hubs and Affiliate Organizations. 🤩🤩🤩

The team has representation from our current Hubs and Affiliate organizations, with Jon Shaffer, and Brian Archie (representing LCN Health Justice Community), Masha Burina (representing LCN Europe ), Eleisha Mullane (representing LCN Australia), Madhura Dasgupta (representing Haiyya), and Sam Gonzalez (representing our growing network in Mexico and LatAm). They are committed to building capacity and leadership in a specific constituency, adapting the organizing framework to their context, and developing leadership in their teams to create scalability. ✊

We are already seeing growth in the network in 2023 - stay tuned for more updates on that, and our work in growing the LCN snowflake guided by the Dream Makers!🍀✨
