Life Transformation Coach - Richard Morden

Life Transformation Coach - Richard Morden I help people discover the unconscious story that they are secretly living their lives from .... What is your story?

When I first discovered Emotional Freedom Technique in 2013 it truly changed my life. I had recently lost my wife and knew that I needed to make changes, but I had no idea where to start. I took a course to become an EFT Practioner, facilitated by the founder of Conscious EFT, Nancy Forester. Her guidance continues to give me a foundation of extensive training, personal growth and emotional awareness, which has become my strength and my passion in life. I truly love what I do and I love helping others to live their best life. I have gone on to use this incredible “tapping” technique for many years; guiding men and women towards emotional wellness. Resolving and releasing these deeply held emotions has a profoundly positive effect on every area of life. My gentle, non intrusive process removes the barriers and heaviness that often surrounds personal trauma and gives my clients the tools to work through their complicated emotions quickly and effectively. My process is simple, easy and effective, providing progress in any area in life where a person may be experiencing conflict, including phobias, anger, anxiety, divorce and communication issues. I will empower you to become connected and aligned to the life that you desire. How can I help you to rewrite it to create the happy ending that you desire?

Part one: The Art of Love Bombing

Love bombing operates as a deliberate grooming technique with clear strategic purposes. The manipulation typically serves one of three primary objectives:

Grooming and Exploitation: The love bomber may be targeting something specific the victim possesses, such as s*x, money, a comfortable living situation, a ready-made family, or social status. This mirrors behaviors seen in child s*xual exploitation cases, where overwhelming attention is used to break down boundaries.

Power Dynamics: Some love bombers are motivated by the challenge itself, particularly when targeting individuals who have expressed doubts or made it clear they don't want a serious relationship. Once they successfully break down these barriers and create an intense emotional connection, they may lose interest and abruptly end the relationship.

Control Establishment: The technique serves to establish power and control early in the relationship by overwhelming the target and encouraging them to fall deeply in love. This emotional investment makes the victim more compliant, as they become fearful of losing the relationship.

The Narcissist's Role

Narcissistic individuals are often skilled at:

Reading your emotional needs quickly
Mirroring exactly what you've been missing. 😊

Love-bombing to create fast attachment. 😍

Gradually shifting to devaluation once you're invested. 😘

This creates a powerful cycle where you're constantly trying to get back to that initial phase where they seemed perfect. The intermittent reinforcement (occasional validation mixed with withdrawal) creates a powerful addiction-like response in your brain.

Communication suffers profoundly too.

Denial creates barriers to authentic connection, as the person can't share their true emotional experience. Partners or colleagues receive mixed messages when words contradict emotional cues. Over time, relationships become superficial or conflict-ridden.

The physical dimension is often overlooked but vital. Chronic emotional suppression triggers stress responses that manifest as insomnia, muscle tension, or weakened immunity. The body pays the price for psychological avoidance.

The Cost of Denial

Denial acts like corrosive acid in relationships, silently eroding trust, intimacy, and authenticity. Its impact is profound and multi-layered:

1. Destroys Authentic Connection & Intimacy:

💣 Hiding Your True Self: Denying your feelings (anger, hurt, sadness, needs, desires) means your partner interacts with a facade, not the real you. True intimacy requires vulnerability and sharing your inner world.

💣Emotional Distance: The wall built to hide your denied feelings creates a barrier. Partners feel shut out, leading to loneliness and disconnection, even when physically together.

💣 False Harmony: Superficial "peace" is maintained by avoiding difficult truths, preventing the deeper understanding and growth that comes from working through conflict authentically.

Exploring New Surroundings: It’s walking into unfamiliar territory, as I love to do. I delayed, avoiding the discomfort of change, but each new place taught me more. What new paths will I explore?

Building Resilience: Stepping out builds strength, as I learned watching my mother’s illness without letting it control me. I avoided this pain, but it shaped me. How much stronger can I become?

Creating from Within: It means recognizing life as an inside job, a lesson from years of study after watching The Secret. I avoided this, fearing my own power, but now I create consciously. What inner vision will I bring to life next?

Choosing for Myself: It’s deciding without others’ input, as I did with skydiving. I waited, avoiding conflict, but autonomy empowered me. What independent choice will I make next?

Embracing Vulnerability: Stepping out is being open, as I was meeting my second wife at a meditation event. I avoided this, fearing rejection, but it led to love. How can I open my heart further?

Seeking Growth Over Comfort: It means choosing learning over safety, as I did joining committees at Honda to improve my skills. I delayed, avoiding exposure, but it built confidence. What growth awaits me next?

Traveling Against Fear: It’s moving forward when the world shuts down, as I did in 2020. I waited too long, avoiding uncertainty, but travel expanded me. Where will my next journey take me?

Experimenting with Life: Stepping out is testing new approaches, as I do with healing modalities like Time Sweeps. I avoided this, fearing mistakes, but experimentation is my teacher. What can I experiment with next?

Connecting Deeply: It means engaging with others’ stories, as I love to do. I delayed, avoiding emotional risk, but these connections enrich me. Whose journey will I discover next?

Living with Curiosity: Finally, stepping out is embodying intense curiosity, as I’ve done throughout life. I waited, avoiding questions without answers, but curiosity drives me. What new understanding will I seek next?

Reflecting on my journey, from a shy child in a tense home to a man who has traveled, healed, and created a life of adventure.

💭 Are you outsourcing your self-worth?

It might look like:
✔️ Over-preparing for meetings so no one can question your value
✔️ Saying “yes” to everything because you fear being seen as difficult
✔️ Needing praise or approval before you feel good about yourself
✔️ Burning out because “being needed” feels like purpose

This is what it means to outsource your self-worth.
You hand over the power to define your value—to your boss, your partner, your friends, even your social media likes.

And the cost?
🧠 Anxiety when the praise stops
🧯 Anger when you're not acknowledged
🕳️ Emptiness even when you “succeed”

Here’s the truth:
Validation isn’t bad—it’s human.
But when it becomes the source of your identity, you’re living from the outside in.

Want a shift? Start here:
👉 Ask yourself, “What do I need to hear from others that I’m not saying to myself?”
👉 Notice the places you’re over-performing just to feel “enough”
👉 Practice validating yourself without a performance attached

You are not your last compliment.
You are not your last success.
You are not your productivity.

You are enough—even when no one is watching.

🔁 Has this been true for you? I’d love to hear how you've reclaimed your worth from external validation. Let’s open the conversation 👇

The Masks We Wear — And Who We Are Without Them

In our careers and lives, many of us wear invisible masks:

🎭 The high-achiever

🎭 The fixer

🎭 The always-available team player

🎭 The rock for everyone else

These roles often bring recognition, but they can also become prisons.

What happens when the role no longer fits, or we’re tired of performing?

What if your real growth isn’t in doing more, but in being seen differently — first by yourself, then by others?

Ask yourself:
✨ How does the world currently see me?
✨ How do I secretly wish they’d see me?

That gap — between perception and desire — holds powerful insight.

This is the conversation we’re opening in The Listening Circle this week:
“Who am I without my roles?”

It’s about conversation, not declaration.

Join us if you’re ready to explore this together.

"Do you struggle to communicate with others and your needs to your partner?

Are you constantly fighting other people's battles while staying silent about your own needs? Do you find yourself looking to the outside world for validation and approval, believing that a relationship will somehow complete you?

Maybe you're always doing something because wherever you are, you feel you should be somewhere else. Perhaps you're giving all your attention to everyone else's crisis—a job loss, an illness, an addiction—while your own voice remains unheard.

What if, instead, you could:

✔️ Stop craving external validation and truly enjoy being alone.

✔️ Build meaningful friendships that are genuinely supportive and caring.

✔️ Say 'no' more often than 'yes' without guilt.

✔️ Speak up and share your truth confidently.

✔️ Tell the world and others exactly what you want.

Experience less stress and overwhelm
Imagine becoming more grounded, calmer, and purposeful. Picture yourself having a great relationship with yourself first, then naturally extending that to others. This transformation begins when you realize that life is an inside job—it begins and ends within you.
