The practice of Massage Therapy is the assessment of the soft tissue and joints of the body and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissues and joints by manipulation to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function, or relieve pain. When soft tissues such as muscles or fascia become very tight or ‘hypertonic’, impaired function and reduction in
well being are established. Eliminating these restrictions to restore optimal function to my patients is of the utmost importance. My approach to Massage Therapy is very detailed with emphasis placed on more than just therapeutic treatment. It emphasizes proper nutrition, regular safe exercise, and an encouragement of bodily awareness to encourage my patients to be the best they can be! Spiritual and emotional health is also paramount in the resolution of dysfunction in and outside the body, So I am also an avid practitioner and on-going student of spiritual growth and emotional health in relation to the overall health Mind, Body, and Spirit!
