I get it!
With a strong global push to plant-based foods and away from our natural diet - animal and plant. .
Forgotten is...What is the best diet for me?
🤪 Not what google says.
🤪 Not what your neighbor is doing.
🤪 Not what the latest diet fad is.
What is ACTUALLY BEST FOR YOU😗
Sure, I get the whole 'better for the environment' narrative.
Or gluten is the enemy.
Or the calories in, calories out.
Each diet has its own story.
But says who? The one promoting it?
😮BIG UNLOCK You are not the same as everyone else.
Look under the veil (aka marketing) and get back to what we designed to eat.
You may see a different picture.
Without getting into the 'weeds'. My intention with this post is to share a hero's story about courage and action.
Meet our recent client,
She came to us after struggling with a Vegan diet that was not serving her health needs but in fact, making her son's health worse off.
After assessing her health and goals, she was open to trying a new way to eat.
Well, you can see the incredible transformation this ONE DIET change did, which helped her go from fatigued and flabby to toned, fit and healthy.
Her son is better too.
I am not against Vegan, Vegetarian, etc. What I am against is blanketly going on a diet because it is marketed as the best.
TIPS TO DISCOVER YOUR BEST DIET
1. What did your ancestors eat?
Ie If the Northern European Climate (cold climate) think about meat and potatoes.
2. Got a health condition you want o heal? Begin by removing the food triggers, then slowly introduce them back once you've healed. Ie autoimmune - avoid grains, beans, nuts, nightshades, and dairy. Then once healed introduce one food group back at a time and watch for any reaction.
3. Love your food choices. Foods are meant to be enjoyed without feeling deprived Think of food swaps
