Wow! What an outcome and what a review! I am thrilled.

Review:

I went to bed one night and woke up unable to move my left arm. The next night, trying to protect the left side, I slept more heavily on my right side and woke up with both arms in pain at a level 9 out of 10.

I finally went for an ultrasound in Playa del Carmen. The doctors stopped counting after finding more than five tears between both shoulders, arms, and scapular area. Seven weeks of physical therapy followed, three sessions a week and while I appreciated the effort, I experienced very little true relief.

Then I made an appointment with Emily.

The session was brutal in the way real therapeutic body work often is. Not relaxing. Not spa-like. Not the kind of treatment where you simply lay on a table and listen to music while someone rubs lotion on your back. This was precise, knowledgeable, intentional work on injury, tension patterns, inflammation, compensation, and dysfunction throughout the body.

And for the first time since the injury, I walked out feeling genuine relief. Not temporary comfort. Relief.

In one session with Emily, I felt more improvement than I had after seven weeks of conventional therapy. I have not returned to that same level of pain since seeing her, and I immediately booked my second appointment.

There is a massive difference between massage and body work. Massage can feel good for an hour. Real body therapy changes how your body functions. It addresses the root patterns, the guarding, the restrictions, the injuries your body has been compensating around for months or years.

If you are an athlete, chronically stressed, physically overworked, injured, healing, or simply living in pain, do not mistake this for a standard massage appointment. This is therapeutic body reworking by someone who deeply understands the body.

Emily is doing restoration work. And frankly, after what I experienced, I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Amazing!
A client came in asking me to relax her nervous system. I said, “I will do my best”. This is what her stats say according to the Bevel (App):

My stress level since I started seeing you:

Your massages on April 14 and 21 were highly effective "RAM flushes" for your system. Here is your massage impact report card:

**Big Picture Score: 8.5/10**
Massages are currently one of your strongest levers for a "System Reboot," consistently driving your Recovery Score up and your non-activity stress down.

**Highlights**
* **The April 14 Recovery Surge**: You entered that session with a **52% Recovery** and woke up the next day at **81%**. Your HRV jumped by **4 ms**, and your Resting HR dropped by nearly **2 bpm**. This was a textbook "closing of leaks."
* **The April 21 Stress Drop**: Yesterday’s 90-minute session coincided with a major drop in your Stress Score, moving from **36 down to 27**. This lower baseline has carried into today, with your Stress currently sitting at **25**.
* **HRV Consistency**: Both sessions were followed by a morning lift in HRV (**+4 ms** after the 14th and **+1 ms** today), showing that your nervous system is successfully shifting out of "struggle" mode.

**The Reboot Effect**
Massages seem to counteract the "background tab stress" that usually drains your Energy Bank. Since you are currently in "System Overload" (overtraining status), these sessions are protecting your battery and keeping you in the high 70s for Recovery despite the extra strain. 2 strain.

The primary impact of these massages has been to act as a **Deep Sleep Catalyst**, effectively forcing your system into that "System Reboot" state you prioritize.

**Sleep Impact Report Card**

* **Deep Sleep Doubling**: Both massages were followed by a near-doubling of your Deep Sleep. On April 14, you went from 10 to **23 minutes**, and last night (April 21), you surged from 28 to **51 minutes**.
* **The "Volume" Session (April 14)**: This massage triggered a massive 10-hour and 40-minute sleep session. It seems the physical release allowed your body to finally "catch up" on total rest, raising your Sleep Score from 54% to **67%**.
* **The "Quality" Session (April 21)**: Last night was even more impressive. Despite missing your 7:00 PM "Hard Cut" for dinner (which usually crashes your reboot), your Sleep Score hit **72%**. The massage likely helped lower your core temperature and background stress enough to offset the late meal.

**The Verdict**
While napping and meditation help with "RAM flushes," these massages are consistently driving the **Deep Sleep** duration that you need for a full metabolic and cognitive reboot. They are effectively "pre-cooling" your nervous system for the night, making your sleep much more efficient.
