BODi Lava Day 2 🔥 complete!

Got my cycle ride 🚲 in, did a quick yoga stretch 🧘‍♀️ so my body doesn’t file a complaint😝, journaled a bit, and then spent an unnecessary amount of time contemplating what on earth I’m wearing tonight. 🤔

Wish I was in better shape to get dressed up, but at this point… not much I can do now except laugh about it and shimmy into whatever outfit cooperates. 🤷🏻‍♀️There is always next year. 😝

I may not feel awesome about myself every day, but I am showing up. Sweating, stretching, wobbling, and trying to convince myself that water tastes just like iced coffee if you believe hard enough.😂

Progress over perfection. One workout, one deep breath, and one "you’ve got this" pep talk at a time.😌

I am not where I want to be yet, but I am proud that I am working toward it one sweaty day at a time. I am doing the best I can with the body I have today and building the one I want for the future. 💫❤️

BODi LAVA 🔥 Day 1 ✅

Showed up for ME this morning 🩷

Cycle warm-up 🚴 … check
Strength + mobility + sweat in the BODi LAVA flow 🏋️‍♀️ … check

Sweat? Oh yes. My sports bra basically became a full-on wrestling match with a gator 🐊😆💦

Knees? They hate me, but still not letting me boss them around 😉

Goal:
Feel strong 💪🏻
Tone up 👙
Boost endorphins = less anxiety + stress 😌

Because let’s be real… 😝
Nobody teaches you about this in health class 🤷‍♀️

Hormones are wild 😬
Mood swings are real 🙃
And yes… laughing through the sweat is mandatory 😂

Some days it’s perfect 🌟
Most days it’s a glorious mess of sweat, wobbling knees, and victory high-fives to myself 💁🏻‍♀️
Showed up 💥
Wrestled a gator 🐊
Survived 😎
Smiled 😍 ✅

DAY 3 💥

Consistency is key 😅

I’ve been doing a mix of workouts, and now I’d like to pick a program and actually commit 🤪
Choices, choices 😬

Cycle ride = warm-up 🚲
Yoga = cool-down 🧘‍♀️
Strength training = my battle plan 💪

My goal is simple 💫

Feel better ❤️‍🩹
I miss that post-workout feeling…
You know the one where your sports bra is soaked in sweat and removing it becomes a full-body workout in itself 🐊😂😝 Seriously, it’s basically wrestling a gator while trying not to pull a muscle 😅That’s when you know you gave it everything 💥

is no joke 🤦🏻‍♀️
Hormone swings 😢
Anxiety sneaks in 😬
Feeling off, not yourself 😌
Even on tired days, the only solution is to move…
Move…
Keep moving 💥
Boost those endorphins 🤩
And maybe annoy my teenagers a little less in the process 🤪💁🏻‍♀️

So today, my goals are simple:

DAY 1: Let’s GOOOO, Superwomen 🦸🏻‍♀️

Today was a full-on “me-time mission” and I’m proud of myself for showing up.

No pressure, no perfection… just doing the best I can navigating reverse puberty 😝😂

Here’s what today looked like for me…

Book 70 😅
Reading is my happy place ☺️

Journaling ✨
Got my thoughts out and organized ✔️

*Walked right by the clean clothes 🧺 on the couch. HUGE win for me!
They can wait, workout first 😉

Cycle ride 🚴‍♀️
Determination and 80’s rOcK 🎸 powered this one. 😉

Strength training 🏋️‍♀️
Strong arms for teaching, lifting mutilple bags groceries (because why make multiple trips😝), and BIG fat hugs 🤗

Yoga 🧘‍♀️

In light of recent headlines… 💜

If this were to pass, hearing that teachers, nurses, and occupational therapists may no longer be considered “professionals” is heartbreaking. These fields, mostly led by women, shape lives, heal families, and support entire communities every single day.

Reclassifying them as “nonprofessional” sends a painful message to those who have dedicated their careers to serving others. 💔

It could mean fewer people entering these fields, less support for those already working, and even changes to pay, benefits, and classroom conditions. 📉

To everyone who shows up with compassion, skill, and heart, your work matters. It always has, and it always will.❤️

Our communities simply could not thrive without you. 💫

It’s been a fun and busy November, and our 7th girls’ trip is officially in the books! ❤️

Girls’ trips really are cheaper than therapy🤪😂, giving us a whole weekend to laugh, breathe, dance, relax, and just be outside the daily routine.☀️🏖️

Big shoutout to our Chaos Coordinator Sabri for pulling it all together. All inclusive fun at its finest!

Beach yoga 🧘‍♀️, water aerobics, and yep… aqua cycling 🚲 (still can’t believe that’s a thing).

Retirement update: I’ll be on the beach 🏖️ teaching yoga and pretending aqua cycling 🚴 is a totally normal sport, beach yoga instructor by morning, aqua cycling hype woman by afternoon. 🤪

So grateful for our GNO Crew and the memories we make every time we’re together.☺️

Good morning ☀️

What a weekend! Parents Weekend at ERAU 💙 was amazing. From the regatta 🚣‍♂️ to the rink 🏒, it was nonstop fun!

Alec’s first season as a walk-on for the ERAU Rowing Team 🦅 and our first regatta experience did not disappoint. Loved meeting so many incredible athletes and families at the rooftop happy hour ❤️

Then Sunday night, Ayden’s AHS Hockey 🏒 team crushed it with a 10–3 win over Pine Crest! Go Stallions! 💙

Grateful for all the memories, laughs, and time with my boys this weekend. 💫

Wrapped up book #68 on my drive and started The Boys in the Boat, recommended by one of Alec’s coaches. Love learning something new while I listen! 🎧

Now it’s time to rise, shine, and work out… got to keep up with my kiddos!💪🏻

Slow and steady…the struggle is real 🤦🏻‍♀️ for my pushups (even modified), but I’m not giving up. This is only day 3; I still have 27 days to make it happen. 🤩

Speed Train 25 Lower Body is done; it’s not my favorite 🤪but it’s done nonetheless.🤷🏻‍♀️

Good morning ☀️

Holy cannoli 🥴 I am feeling it from yesterday’s dead hangs and upper body workout. Shoulders? On fire 🔥 Hands? Basically sandpaper now 😅 But I swear I’m at least an inch taller from all that hanging 😵😂 So… totally worth it?

The stretch felt so good though 🤩

It’s definitely a love-hate thing right now 😂
