Anya4Yoga Morning yoga for all levels on the stunning oceanview terrace of Hotel Brisas del Mar in Puerto Vallarta's Romantic Zone. MWF. 8:30-9:30 AM B.K.S.

Anya has practiced yoga (Iyengar* tradition) since 1992. She is a graduate of the White Lotus Foundation Teacher Training Program at the 40-hour level and she is a Registered Yoga Alliance Teacher at the 200-hour level. She was lucky to study with Gheeta Iyengar when she came to the U.S. in 2000, as well as with other senior Iyengar yoga instructors such as Ramanand Pattel, Kofi Busia, Ellis Miller, Neeta Datta, Mary Obendorfer and Eddy Marks. Anya has been teaching yoga in California and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, since 1999, at gyms and corporate sites including eBay, Facebook, Marvell and SAP. She was also featured on the cover of the August 21, 2002, issue of the Saratoga News.

*Mr. Iyengar, who was recognized as one of the 100 most influential people of the 20th century by TIME Magazine, lends his name to the style of yoga that he developed. In the Iyengar style of hatha yoga, emphasis is on precision and alignment in traditional yoga postures. As a result, you will develop strength and flexibility as well as stability and concentration. You will also learn how to identify and reduce stress.
