Before each retreat, we take time to personally meet with our participants on Zoom as we are getting ready to do right now. These preparation sessions are sacred to us — a chance to connect heart-to-heart, answer questions, ease anxieties, and ensure that every soul feels fully supported before arriving.

Retreat isn’t just about the days we spend together in Mexico. It begins the moment someone says “yes” to the journey. Each conversation before arrival helps create the container of trust, safety, and openness that allows for the deep healing and transformation to unfold.

🤝 At Merkaba Retreats, every transformation is built on sacred reciprocity. 🔄

At Merkaba Retreats, we have witnessed men and women arrive burdened by unimaginable trauma, addiction, illness, and despair — and leave with freedom, clarity, healing beyond your imagination, and a renewed path forward.

With joy and reverence, we are honored to share a sacred shift: Merkaba Church is now Merkaba Temple.

This change reflects the living, breathing nature of our path. Many of you have shared that the word church didn’t fully capture the essence of what we are building together. We are more than a single tradition or doctrine — we are a temple of light, a sanctuary for all faiths, and a living vessel for the Great Mystery.

Our offerings, retreats, and services remain the same — but now flow through the name Merkaba Temple, in deeper alignment with who we truly are.

Christopher Shaw, Founding Steward of Merkaba Temple, shares:
