The Breath - it changes everything!

When we have negative reactions, the breath changes. It shortens, it moves to the upper part of the lungs and inturn activates our Fight Flight or Freeze response.

When we take 6 deep long belly breaths (diaphragmatic breathing) we activate our Rest and Restore system ie we relax, we calm down.

In these current times of unease in the world - come back to your breath. Deep, slow belly breaths.

Feel good simply by going deep into your breath🙏🏾

Everything is a choice.

Every reaction you have is your choice - you retain the power.

With multiple businesses and 5 children who we homeschool I am constantly asked
How do you get it all done?
How are you so happy?
How are you and your husband still married?
Where do you find the energy?

The answer to all these questions is really quite simple.

I choose to have energy
I choose to enjoy life
I choose to be happy
I choose to love the chaos that comes with a big family
I choose to see the strength and lessons in challenges
I choose to see the power, bond and love in my marriage
I choose to whole heartedly accept my husband and children as they are and not try to change or control them.

This photo is how I get work done on my businesses while helping my children communicate in a connected manner while learning to read.

To most - this situation right here is chaos, but I choose to see the love, bond and happiness in these moments.

I choose gratitude EVERY TIME!
