Cucumber Sandwiches - With an Indian Twist 🥒

These light sandwiches are such a great tea time snack or appetizer for any get together.

All you need is:
* 6 Slices white bread, cut the crust out.
* 2 Tbsp Cream cheese, softened
* 2 Tbsp Mayonnaise (Kewpie or any other brand)
* 1 tsp Mint, chopped
* 1 tsp Cilantro, chopped
* 1 tsp Chives, chopped
* Salt to taste
* 1/2 tsp black pepper
* 1 tsp lime or lemon juice
* 1/2 tsp Chat masala
* Can add 1 Tbsp softened butter too
* 20 thinly sliced English cucumber slices
* 2 Tbsp chutney

Ingredients:
1 cup moong dal
1 tsp fresh ginger
1 green chilli, chopped
Pinch of turmeric (haldi)
Pinch of hing
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chat masala
1/2 cup water
1 tsp cilantro

Masala Papad - An Indian street food, such a great snack with chai or beer☕️🍺

Ingredients
* 1 Papad (roasted in the microwave for one minute, 30 seconds on each side). Can fry it too.
* 1T Onions, finely chopped
* 1T Cucumber, finely chopped
* 1T Tomatoes, no pulp, finely chopped
* 1t Green Chillies, finely chopped
* 1T Cilantro, chopped
* 1/4t Black pepper
* 1/4t Roasted cumin
* 1/4t Chat masala
* 1/4t Paprika
* 1T Kasoori Methi, crushed
* Pinch black salt
* 1/8t Salt
* 1T Lime juice
* 2T Paneer, grated

Sabudana Khichdi Recipe💛 - A tapioca based dish that’s perfect to make for Navratri. Only took me 10 minutes to make.

Ingredients:
* 1 cup sabudana, medium (Tapioca), wash few times and soak it in 3/4 cup of water for at least 4 hours or overnight, drain.
* 2Tbsp Ghee
* 1tsp Cumin seeds
* 1/2 cup Peanuts, dry roasted
* 2-3 Green chilies, chopped
* 1 tsp Ginger, chopped
* 8-10 curry leaves
* 2Tbspccoconut, grated
* 2Tbsp Lime juice
* 1 medium potato, cubed and cooked
* 2Tbsp Peanuts, ground
* 1tsp Sugar
* 1/2 tsp black pepper
* Salt to taste

Method:
* Heat ghee, add cumin seeds, peanuts , green chilies, ginger, curry patta. Stir
* Add coconut, lime juice, potatoes.
* Add drained sago(tapioca), stir
* Add ground peanuts, stir
* Add salt, sugar and black pepper
* Mix lightly, cover and cook on medium heat until sago pearls are transparent, about 2 minutes
* Garnish with cilantro and coconut.

Have you tried my jalapeño popper recipe yet?! These only take 20 minutes to make!

You can prep and freeze the filling as well to make them anytime!

Ingredients:
🌶️Jalapeño Peppers, (cut into half lengthwise and remove membranes and seeds)
🧀8 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
🧄3 T Fried Garlic (fry chopped garlic in 2T olive oil)
🌿3 T Chopped Cilantro
🧂1 t Salt
1/2 t Black pepper
1t Roasted Cumin powder
1 t Chat Masala
2T Fresh Basil
½ cup Parmesan Cheese
Softened butter
Bread crumbs(fresh)
1/2 t Kashmiri mirch

Method
- Mix ingredients from cream cheese to parmesan cheese Fill Jalapeño peppers with 1T of this mixture. Spread a little butter, bread crumbs and sprinkle Kashmiri mirchi.
- Bake at 400 degrees (F) for about 12 minutes until light brown or bake in an air fryer at 360 degree (F) for 11 minutes. Serve hot
- Makes 20 jalapeno poppers
