Posture is a #1 complaint.
Shoulders rolling forward, chest collapse, head jutting forward like a chicken, neck pain, tinnitus, carpal tunnel, digestive problems, and just looking in the mirror or photos and thinking "OMG I have such bad posture!"

Yep, posture is causing you pain. And sorry to break this to you, you can't force yourself into "good posture" and think it will stick.

But I will tell you this, you can improve your posture with the right routine designed for you.

This testimonial is from a student with a head pushed forward and a rounded upper back, making her "look" much older than she is. We have been working for 3 months now and she stands up straighter, can breathe better,r and looks vibrant and full of energy. Plus, she's getting compliments from others!

Comment below "posture" If you are ready to start doing something about your posture instead of just complaining or putting yourself down.

I have a student who has horrendous cramps due to endometriosis and PCOD. The focus of her sessions is on the poses to help her during, after, and before her period.

Yes, yoga can help with this if done in the proper sequence and way. As a matter of fact, I believe it's one of the most important things I personally learned that helped me through my own cycle and menopause. I can't imagine a woman not knowing these incredible poses and their healing power.

But I always know that each person might not have the same experience, so when at the end of the session she reported that the pain had greatly subsided, I was happy for her because being in pain sucks. Again, it reminded me of the healing power of yoga.

You sign up. You have good intentions.

But when it’s time to show up…
🧠 Your brain says:

“There’s too much to do.”
“Something might come up.”
“I’ll do it tomorrow.”

And just like that, your self-care—your practice—gets booted off the list.

But here’s the thing:
Your brain isn’t sabotaging you on purpose.
It’s trying to protect you.
It wants you to just “get through today.”

🕒 Before you know it, the future is here.

✨ How can I honor my promise to myself today?
Will your future self thank you from a mountain trail?
Or from a hospital bed?

Instead of thinking “I have so much to do,”
Ask yourself:

✨ How can I honor my promise to myself—today?
✨ What can be delayed or delegated?
✨ What support would make this easier?
✨ What can I do right now to start moving?

Because once you begin, your body remembers.
It feels good to move

And it’s not optional anymore not if you want to do this work for the long haul.

💭 What’s a more helpful thought you can offer your brain today?
Drop it in the comments.
And it’s not optional anymore, not if you want to do this work for the long haul.
Your future self is counting on you.

Menopause doesn’t start at 50—it begins with how you’ve treated your body all along.

Every time you pushed through your period.
Every time you ignored the fatigue, masked the cramps, took a pill and kept going.

It’s like running your car 16 hours a day and never turning it off.
Perimenopause isn't your body failing- it just needs rest.

When perimenopause came earlier than expected, I thought I had all the tools.

I’d been practicing yoga—Iyengar yoga—for years.
I followed the menstrual sequence religiously.
I didn’t push through my period. I honored it.
And I truly believe that saved me during perimenopause.

But still… it caught me off guard.

My digestion shifted.
My sleep changed.
My emotions felt more raw.
I knew something was happening, but I didn’t fully understand it yet.

My practice gave me patience, grounding, and a way to listen when things began to shift.

But Ayurveda?
That came later.

And once I discovered it, I realized how much more support I could offer my body—through food, rest, routine, and slowing the nervous system way down.

I still use those tools now—every day.
Because this stage of life isn’t a problem to fix.
It’s a realignment.

If you’re in your 30s or 40s, start now.
If you’re already in it, it’s not too late.
If you’re past it, there’s still plenty you can do to support vitality and ease.

💬 DM me, comment "vitality" or click the link in my bio to book a free 30-minute call.
I’ll help you figure out where to begin and what your body’s been trying to tell you all along.

You can start listening now. 🌀

📍I Tried Every Yoga Class… Until One Finally Made Me Stay"

I bounced around going to classes at ashrams, gyms and fancy studios. I sweated through Bikram. Tried vinyasa flows with playlists and young teachers talking ancient philosophy while burning candles.
But something was missing.

I didn’t want another workout.
One day, I stepped into an Iyengar Yoga class. It had been years since I had tried (and didn't like) this method of yoga. But my meniscus was torn and I wasn't getting what I was looking for in the other classes. I walked into a class way above my ability, and I'm sure the teacher was rolling their eyes, … but something landed.

Not floaty. Not blissed out.
Present. Stable. Rooted.

👉 Yoga isn’t about escaping your body—it’s about coming home to it.

That was 25 years ago. And even now, Iyengar yoga continues to meet me exactly where I am—through grief, anxiety, aging, and change.

This practice has depth. Structure. Integrity. It doesn’t ask me to perform. It invites me to learn.

🧭 If you're craving something more than a sweaty flow,
🧭 If you’re tired of chasing yoga that doesn’t stick,
🧭 If you want to be taught, not just guided—

✨ Start here.
DM me “Iyengar” and I’ll send you a few ways to get started—whether you're brand new or ready to go deeper.
