6 months postop result of secondary rhinoplasty. This was a very difficult case in which she presented a saddle nose deformity after the first months of her primary rhinoplasty. This type of cases require advanced rhinoplasty maneuvers to correct the middle third of the nose. She also presented an uprotated nose which was corrected. Bringing back the natural Aesthetics of the nose is difficult, but we achieved it in this case 🫰🏻

Primary rhinoplasty result 3 months postop. Subtle changes in her dorsum were done to bring the hump a little bit down. We also improve the shape of the tip, which has a lot of definition in the profile and frontal views. We are at >70% of final result but we can see from now an spectacular change in her nose

6 months postoperative result of secondary rhinoplasty in this extremely difficult case. She had a previous rhinoplasty in which she had complete cartilage reabsortion. Due to the reabsortion she presented a retracted skin and this extreme deprojection in her tip.
This type of cases requiere múltiple techiques to re-project the nasal tip without outgoing skin flaps from other areas outside the nose.
In this case we use an extended nasal mucosal flap from the floor and lateral wall along with a full rib cartilage framework to reach a good tip projection.
At the end we restablished the Aesthetic and function of her nose.

6 months postop of a rhinoplasty case. This is a case of a short nose which needs a better projection and and tip definition. Both of them achieved in the profile and frontal views. Specially the frontal view shows those tip definition points that make a nose look beautiful. In this case we used rib cartilage due to the fact that we were dealing with a small amount of nasal septum cartilage

6 months postoperative result in a primary rhinoplasty case.
Balance is the key in facial plastic surgery procedures. She had a droopy tip which was more visible in dynamics. Lifting a little bit the columella and giving it support with cartilage corrected the problem. We also improved her tip definition which can be seen in every angle, specially in the tip definition points in the frontal view. Nasal hump was reduced and nasal pyramid was slightly narrowed.
All these maneuvers lead us to this amazing result which enhance her natural preoperative beauty. In this case rib cartilage was needed.

4 months postoperative result in this primary rhinoplasty case which had previously a hiauronic acid filler. This case shows the big differences between a rhinoplasty vs injecting hiauronic acid filler to improve the shape of the nose.
Look closely how she had in the preoperative picture a longer and more bulbous tip because of the nose filler.
If you want tip definition, adding volume with fillers will never get the job done, specially in frontal views.
We end up with this beautiful and natural result. We lift a little bit the tip and improve tip definition. We also slightly deproject the tip to create a better balance with her face and correct the nasal hump.

Resultado a los 4 meses de la cirugía en este caso de rinoplastia primaria, tras un tratamiento previo con relleno de ácido hialurónico. Este caso muestra las grandes diferencias entre una rinoplastia y la inyección de relleno de ácido hialurónico para mejorar la forma de la nariz.

Observen cómo en las fotos preoperatorias, la punta de la nariz se veía más larga y bulbosa debido al relleno.
Si se busca definir la punta, añadir volumen con rellenos nunca dará el resultado deseado, sobre todo en vistas frontales.
Obtuvimos este hermoso y natural resultado. Elevamos ligeramente la punta y mejoramos su definición. También reducimos ligeramente su proyección para lograr un mejor equilibrio con el rostro y corregimos la giba nasal.

Primary rhinoplasty 6 months postop. Multiple times patients ask to narrow the nasal base, though many have this fear to end with a pinched nose.
This is a case in which we narrow nasal base by removing excess skin. We also improve tip definition which can be seen en frontal view with in the tip definition points.
Profile view with better tip stability, no more droopy tip. We end up with this very natural result. Rib cartilage was required in this case

Rinoplastia primaria 6 meses después de la operación. Los pacientes solicitan en repetidas ocasiones el estrechamiento de la base nasal, aunque muchos temen terminar con una nariz pinchada.
En este caso, estrechamos la base nasal eliminando el exceso de piel alar. También mejoramos la definición de la punta, que se puede apreciar en la vista frontal en los puntos de definición de la punta.
En la vista de perfil, se observa una mejor estabilidad de la punta y se elimina la caída de la punta. Terminamos con este resultado muy natural. En este caso de requirió injerto de cartílago costal

Resultado postoperatorio a más de 6 meses de rinoplastia primaria. En este caso usamos solo cartílago de tabique nasal.
