It’s been 20 years since I broke my neck and was paralyzed, I can barely believe it. �.�In the summer of 2004, right after graduating college and having moved to the island of Maui, I had an accident. �I fell off a cliff and didn´t know if I would live or walk again. What was without a doubt the hardest, darkest, most
challenging moment of my life (then or there after) I now consider my greatest gift and blessing. �.�To celebrate and show how I got here and why I´m so grateful, I decided to do a little video highlighting these past
20 years. Everyone’s story is different and everyone’s hardships are unique. I know I was inspired by others and I hope�that my story can inspire some other people as well. So here we go…

Satsang
Join our weekly Satsang every Wednesday 7:30pm in Taraka Yoga.
Satsang is a Sanskrit word meaning "community of truth seekers" or "being in the presence of like-minded/inspirational people"
In this weekly practice, based on the Sivananda Yoga lineage, we come together to meditate, chant and discuss yoga through stories, philosophy and more.
This is an event open to all and is given in Spanish and English. You can donate to the studio if you like, but really we want to bring people together and create a space for sadhana and to practice together.

Puedes unirte cuando puedas, no tienes que asistir todo.

Y si te interesa ver la sesión de hoy (o cualquier otra sesión), todas están grabadas y online. Mandame un mensaje y te pongo el grupo para recibir las grabaciones y documentos sobre el curso.

Exploraremos muchas historias y puedes tomarlo de manera presencial u online. 📲
Si no puedes venir a uno, no te preocupes. Siempre vale la pena escuchar las historias de Dios (sravanama, la primera práctica de Bhakti yoga) y cantar el nombre de Dios, Rama Rama Rama.
