I am currently participating in the Congreso Intermedio del CMCOEM: Advances in Metabolic Surgery and the First National Consensus, taking place from February 19th to 21st in Mexico City, at Hospital Ángeles Pedregal.

These types of academic meetings strengthen our medical practice, allow us to update criteria, share clinical experience, and most importantly, build consensus that positively impacts our patients’ health.

For me, metabolic surgery is not only a surgical technique, but a transformative tool in the comprehensive treatment of obesity and metabolic diseases.

We continue learning, contributing, and staying at the forefront — with one clear goal: to provide safer, more up-to-date, and more compassionate care.

Me encuentro participando en el Congreso Intermedio del CMCOEM: Avances en Cirugía Metabólica y el Primer Consenso Nacional, que se lleva a cabo del 19 al 21 de febrero en la Ciudad de México, en el Hospital Ángeles Pedregal.

Este tipo de encuentros fortalecen nuestra práctica médica, nos permiten actualizar criterios, compartir experiencia clínica y, sobre todo, seguir construyendo consensos que impacten positivamente en la salud de nuestros pacientes.

I had the honor of participating in the CMCOEM Midterm Congress: Advances in Metabolic Surgery and the First National Consensus, held in Mexico City from February 19 to 21, at Hospital Ángeles Pedregal.

It was a highly valuable academic meeting where specialists from across the country shared experience, knowledge, and the most relevant advances in the surgical treatment of obesity.

During this important event, I delivered the lecture “SADI-S as a revisional procedure: results and tips,” where I shared my experience, outcomes, and key insights to optimize this procedure, always with the goal of providing safer and more effective treatments for our patients.

Continuing education and contributing to medical advancement are part of my commitment to delivering care based on science, precision, and responsibility.
