"I have always been the big girl. Even in high school when I was in sports and was very athletic, I was still not the same size as my peers. I yo-yo dieted for 25 years until I finally said "enough is enough! I was not a healthy mom but I will be a healthy nana. So when I decided to make this change was less than 3 months from my consult to surgery. I am now the healthiest I have been since probably high school, possibly even middle school. I've never been able to feel comfortable in my own skin, even though I am not 100% comfortable because body dysmorphia is real, I don't feel like the same girl on the right! I'm not the same girl on the right! I hold my head high, I have confidence, I love myself! My one regret is not finding the money to do it sooner so that I can have this fabulous life I'm living now!!" -Candice 🩵
