The moment I lay here, looking out over San Miguel, I knew.

This is the place. The one I’ve been holding in my vision for years. A longer, deeper retreat for women in midlife who are ready to take proper time out for themselves.

This is for women from mid 40’s to 60’s who are craving real rest… the kind that permeates deeply and is so deserved for this chapter of their lives.

It isn’t about a quick reset. It’s an immersion in healthier, happier, longer living. With rhythms that nourish. In the kind of group that recognises women who they are underneath all the roles and responsibilities they carry.
The retreat days start with morning sunshine and breath or movement on the rooftop overlooking the town. A nutritious breakfast to fuel the day. A rotating program of cultural experiences and wellness workshops led by a hand-selected team of experts. Afternoons of free time to wander the historic centre or sink into the in-house wellness facilities. Evenings spent around chef-prepared themed dinners - or out sampling San Miguel’s buzzing restaurant scene.

San Miguel de Allende offers cobblestone streets, golden light, stunning mountainous scenery, a slowness that invites you to move more mindfully. It is one of Mexico’s most enchanting historic towns, and the perfect location for this immersion.

🗓️ March 2027 - Stay 7, 14, 21 or 28 days.

Birthday energy this evening with this incredible human ✨🥳

What started as a colleague connection has grown into so much more - a close friendship, business partners, travel companions, hotel roomies, being each other’s translator, conference co-presenters, medicine circle buddies and retreat co-hosts.

On the surface, we couldn’t look more different - Heidi, tall and dark; me, short and blonde - and hailing from opposite sides of the world. As well as completely different backgrounds.

However, we share a deep passion for holistic health, spirituality, the power of nature, and creating spaces for people to heal. And we’re even the same age… well at least for a 5 week period each year 😉

I can’t imagine my life in Mexico without Heidi’s witchy magic. Anyone who has Heidi in their life (or has attended one of her sessions) is better for it.

Here’s to many more projects, wild ideas and making memories together. So grateful our paths crossed 🫶

Some of my most treasured memories as a mother happened when we stepped out of our normal routine and into somewhere completely different. No school runs, no packed lunches, no screens competing for attention. Just us being present, unhurried, and actually together.

When I took my kids travelling, something shifted. Without the noise of everyday life, we connected on a level that just doesn’t happen at home. We talked and laughed more. We were more aware of one another. Those trips didn’t just give us a break; they gave us back to each other again.

Those key memories where what led me to create this retreat.

Four days among the ancient redwoods of Mendocino, Northern California. Yoga for all ages. Nature adventures. Nourishing meals prepared for you. Campfire evenings under the stars. No planning, no cooking, no stressful logistics - just quality time with the people who matter most. And the opportunity to make new friends too.

This isn’t just a kids’ activity camp with yoga on the side. It’s a genuine family experience designed to slow everyone down, reconnect, and create the kind of memories that stay with you long after you get home.

🗓️ June 11–14, 2026
📍 Spirit Camp, Mendocino
🧒 Recommended age 5+

Secure one of the remaining private family cabins.

Hope you can join us in the redwoods! 🌳

The Embrace of the Cenote

A sacred descent into yourself.

There are places on Earth
that don’t just exist…

They reveal something in you. This is not just a ceremony. It is an encounter.

With the Earth. With the water.
With the part of you that has been waiting.

In the cenote, within a cave, crystal clear water and darkness… something softens.

This is for you if:
You have done work on yourself… but still feel something unresolved.
You are ready to stop understanding and start experiencing.
You feel the call to go deeper - not higher, but deeper. This is not a comfortable experience. It is a real one.

A space where you release what you’ve been holding; you reconnect with your essence
and you allow something new to emerge.

12 participants maximum.
A private cenote.
A held and intentional space.

🗓 May 30th, 2026
3:00 PM - 10:00 PM
📍 Riviera Maya

If something in you responds to this…
don’t ignore it.
This is not for everyone.
But if it’s for you… you will feel it.

Led by Medicine Man + Humanistic Psychologist

For more info or to book your spot, send a DM or type ‘Cenote’ in the comments. The Ceremony will be conducted in Spanish and English.

Wellness isn’t just about a following a program, getting your daily steps in, or a dietary regime. It can also be warm sun on your skin, swimming in clear waters, an afternoon nap, or enjoying deep conversations.

Yesterday I drove to Nopalitos Lagoon in Quintana Roo, and it was the perfect end to Semana Santa (Easter week). No fixed plan, no schedule. Just the simple pleasures of sun baking, floating in crystal-clear water, and exploring beyond my neighbourhood.

This is the Mexico I love. Discovering places that are still a little off the beaten path; reached without requiring a plane ticket.

I hope you all enjoyed your long weekend wherever you were 🌎

There’s something very grounding about going to a local market and buying your food directly from the people who grow it.

No long supply chains. Just real food, from real people. It shifts the experience from being a routine shop to being more intentional. The focus is on where your food comes from, how it was grown, and what’s actually in it.

When you buy directly from local growers, you’re not just choosing produce, you’re choosing food that has been picked at its peak, not weeks (or months) before. You’re choosing ingredients that haven’t travelled thousands of kilometres across continents or sat in cold storage losing vitality.

You can definitely taste the difference. But more importantly … your body can feel the difference.

Seasonal, local, and ideally organic or spray-free foods carry a higher nutritional value. They are richer in vitamins, minerals, and life force. They haven’t been stripped down by time, transport, and preservation processes designed for shelf life rather than human health.

This is where true nourishment begins.

Not in a package, but in the soil, the sun, and the hands of those who tend to it.

I believe wellness starts with awareness, and one of the most powerful shifts you can make is simply becoming more connected to where your food comes from.

Next time you have the option, choose the market. Slow down. Meet the growers. Ask questions.

Whenever I travel, I make it a priority to track down the local markets, and buy fresh local produce. I feel it provides a glimpse into the culture and vibe of a destination.

Because food isn’t just fuel. It’s a relationship.

30/03/2026

There comes a point where you stop waiting for life to feel safe and comfortable again …
and start choosing the life you know you need to build.

For me, that moment didn’t come from ambition. It came from loss.

One day, everything looked normal. And the next… we suddenly became a family of four, where I was thrust into solo parenthood, and trying to find our way through something we never saw coming.

I can remember lying awake at night thinking:
“How do I navigate this? How do I give them a life that still feels full, despite the gaping hole that now exists?”

On paper, staying in our hometown would have made sense. Familiar place. Support from family. Business owner. Predictability.

But something in me knew … we couldn’t grow in the same place that held so much pain.

So I made a decision that didn’t look logical to most people.

We left Australia.
No family in Mexico.
No job in place.
No guarantees.

Just a quiet knowing that we needed a new beginning. Not because it was easy, but because it was necessary.

The shift wasn’t just external.
It was internal.

I was no longer asking “Why did this happen to us?” And I started asking “What kind of life do I want to create for them now? What do they need to see in me? What does courage actually look like in real life?”

And then… we built a new life.

Was it easy? F**k no.
Messy at times.
Doubting on the regular.
But intentional every step of the journey.

And now, when I look at my kids; how adaptable they are, how they move between cultures with ease, how resilient they’ve become …

I know we made the right decision. Not because it was perfect. But because we chose growth over comfort, and possibility over fear.

You don’t create a new life by waiting for the pain to pass. You create it by becoming the person who’s willing to step into the unknown…
and build something beautiful anyway.

If you are considering taking the leap to step into a new version of your life, I am here to chat and support you. Send a DM to start a conversation. Because sometimes taking baby steps is the key to big changes and building a life in which there are no regrets 🥰
