Our last retreat was a Healthy Aging Retreat, and it carried a kind of wisdom you can’t manufacture, only live.
It was filled with people who have already walked long roads, gathered stories, survived seasons, losses, love, and transformation, and still chose to step into something new.
This experience reminded us of something sacred:
Growth doesn’t have an expiration date.
Healing doesn’t retire.
Transformation doesn’t slow down just because the body does.
Later in life isn’t an ending, it’s a refinement.

Today at our Integration meet-up we were reminded that healing in isolation can feel like survival, but healing in community feels like remembrance. We explored what truly holds meaning in our lives, the difference between taking and receiving, and the sacred art of letting go. We spoke about giving not as depletion, but as devotion — becoming a conduit rather than a container. There’s a quiet power in being witnessed while you heal. Some medicine only works when shared.

Wow! It was an incredible experience bringing in 2026 with such an incredible group of people. This 8 day retreat was full of new guests and a few return guests. We dedicate this episode to the loving memory of Marcus
April 1974-Dec 2024.
In this deeply moving episode, we sit with Jason, a 55-year-old retiree who arrived at Eleusinia carrying a year marked by unimaginable loss. Within one year, Jason lost his mother, then his father, and shortly after, the love of his life, his husband, Marcus. When Jason concluded his Eleusinia retreat, it was on the one-year anniversary of Marcus’s death.
What unfolds is an honest reflection on grief, surrender, and the unexpected intelligence of inner healing. Jason shares how the experience gently, and at times overwhelmingly, asked him to trust and release what was arising, to soften his resistance, and to release far more grief than he thought he was capable of holding. This episode is a testament to love that endures beyond loss, to the courage it takes to remain open and alive after heartbreak, and to the quiet transformation that can occur when we stop bracing and allow ourselves to feel.
