In most cases, yellow patches in panties indicate residual ge***al fluid, which is a symptom of infectious s*xually transmitted diseases such as gonorrhoea and chlamydia. Both are characterised by abnormal va**nal discharge or fluid, which is yellowish (can be greenish yellow) and foul-smelling. Normal va**nal discharge should be clearly white and odorless.

Especially in women, yellow spots on panties can also be a sign of trichomoniasis and a bacterial infection of the va**na (bacterial vaginosis). Both of these conditions cause a thick yellowish va**nal discharge and have a pungent or fishy odor. Other symptoms are pain or heat when urinating symptoms are complaints of pain or heat when urinating.

What is the treatment?

Keputihan merupakan perkara normal bagi kebanykan wanita. Ia terjadi disebabkan pelbagai faktor dan lazimnya tidak membahayakan selagi tidak berwarna kuning atau kehijauan serta mengeluarkan bau kurang enak.

Sebagai umat Islam yang mementingkan kebersihan terutamanya apabila mengerjakan ibadah, lendir keputihan yang keluar adakalanya mengundang rasa was-was dalam diri wanita itu sendiri sama ada wuduk yang diambil tadi adalah sah atau sebaliknya. Apa perlu ambil wuduk sekali lagi?

Dalam mencari kepastian tentang isu ini, Prof Dr. Imelda dari Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya tampil memberi penjelesan. Malah, ia turut disokong oleh Pensyarah Syariah Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) iaitu Yasmin Khaula dan Ustaz Ahmad Faidzal Abdul Latif yang mempuyai kelulusan Syariah dari Universiti Al-Azhar yang mengesahkan fiqah wanita berkenaan isu keputihan.

PERTAMA:

Segala yang mengalir di dalam tubuh bila keluar di luar badan dinamakan najis seperti darah, kencing, muntah, tahi.

KEDUA:

Jika keputihan, cecair atau lendir itu yang berasal dari luar f***j dan rahim (iaitu bahagian kemaluan di luar yang boleh dibasuh), maka ia bukan najis dan tidak membatalkan wuduk.

KETIGA:

Jika keputihan cecair atau lendir datangnya dan dalam f***j atau rahim tetapi belum lagi keluar dan dalam f***j, ia bukan najis sehinggs ia keluar danpada pintu f***j. Tidak ada dalam Islam yang menyuruh kita meruang.

KEEMPAT:

Bila keputihan keluar daripada f***j, ia ia membatalkan wuduk. Cucii kemaluan dan ambil wuduk semula.

KELIMA:

Jika semasa solat, keluarnya cecair dan kita tidak pasti sama ada cecair itu asalnya datang dan luar, atau dari dalam f***j, tidak batal waduk.

KEENAM:

Jika semasa solat, keluarnya cecair yang datang dan f***j dan kita tidak sengaja sebab ini adalah di luar kawalan wanita, ramal ustaz ustazah berpendapat solat kita tidak batal, tetapi cuci dan ambil wudu semula dan pakai pad/panty liner apabila masuk waktu untuk solat yang kemudian, seperti juga kencing yang tidak lawas.
