Both the bees and the beekeepers are truly facing many challenges.
Many customers assume that once they have paid for honey, they can treat the seller without respect. What they often do not realize is that neither the bees nor the beekeepers obtain this honey easily.
We are constantly dealing with environmental problems such as pollution, chemical spraying in surrounding areas, deforestation, and new developments. With the loss of forests, bees struggle to find sufficient food sources, resulting in lower honey production. When honey supply is limited, sales naturally decline.
In addition, unsuitable farming locations, high land costs, unsafe surroundings, rising operational expenses, and frequent theft further increase the burden on beekeepers.
Beekeeping is not just a business — it is a responsibility that is deeply connected to nature, the environment, and the survival of our bees.

I feel truly saddened.
My intention has always been to protect the beekeeping industry, preserve the well-being of the bees, and provide genuinely pure products. However, I am facing many challenges along the way.
I have been actively searching for land to purchase in the Baling area, but most available land is Malay Reserve land, which I am not eligible to buy. The remaining non-Bumiputera lots are either far too expensive or too large in size, making them completely beyond my financial capacity.
This situation has been extremely discouraging and stressful. The place where I currently operate is no longer suitable for beekeeping, as the surrounding area has been heavily developed and no longer maintains a rural environment.
Beekeeping is not as easy as many other businesses.
Because of these challenges, I am now forced to consider relocating my bees to a more suitable and sustainable location.
