Too much coffee during pregnancy may increase the risk of miscarriage, as CAFFEINE crosses into the placenta and baby is not able to fully process it. Caffeine is also found in tea, chocolate, energy drinks and soft drinks (Coca-Cola!). Research suggest a maximum limit of 200mg of caffeine a day.

It is best to limit your caffeine intake as much as possible during pregnancy, as high levels have been linked to pregnancy complications.
