In its early days, the Discipline contributed towards the establishment of medical undergraduate curriculum and the planning of the Medical Faculty infrastructure. In June 2011, the Discipline commenced its postgraduate specialist training programme, the Masters of Family Medicine, in collaboration with the Specialty Conjoint Board of Family Medicine. To date, Primary Care Medicine Discipline is proud to have a dynamic, passionate and progressive team of academic staff and allied health personnel who are highly devoted to make our common mission and vision of the future a reality.
