Occasionally i get very interesting cases, very different from the routine cancer and accident cases which i manage on a daily basis. This is an interesting case, whereby this pleasant lady Puan unfortunately had severe abdominal pain with fever and jaundice.She initially went to one of the hospitals in Batu Pahat where the doctor did a ct scan for her and identified that her gall bladder had burst! They subsequently had inserted a tube in her abdomen and kept the patient on antibiotics for a week. The patients clinical condition was getting progressively worse . She then seeked my expert opinion after being brought in by her children to see me after being advised by their friends. The patient was immediately subjected to a major surgery and successfully recovered well after the operation. Kadang-kadang saya mendapat kes yang sangat menarik, sangat berbeza daripada kes kanser dan kemalangan rutin yang saya uruskan setiap hari. Ini adalah satu kes yang menarik, di mana Puan yang baik hati ini malangnya mengalami sakit perut yang teruk dengan demam dan jaundis. Dia pada mulanya pergi ke salah sebuah hospital di Batu Pahat di mana doktor membuat ct scan untuknya dan mengenal pasti pundi hempedunya pecah! Mereka kemudiannya telah memasukkan tiub ke dalam perutnya dan memastikan pesakit diberi antibiotik selama seminggu. Keadaan klinikal pesakit semakin teruk. Dia kemudiannya meminta pendapat pakar saya selepas dibawa oleh anak-anaknya berjumpa saya setelah dinasihati oleh rakan-rakan mereka.
