🧩 BREAKING: Autism Education Centres Coming to Every State in Malaysia!

📣 Great news for parents of autistic children! The Malaysian Government has officially announced that dedicated Autism Education Centres will be built in every state, as part of the upcoming 13th Malaysia Plan (13MP).

Here’s what this means for YOU 👇

🔹 Local access to quality support
No more long-distance travel or endless waiting lists! These state-level centres will provide specialised education and therapy closer to home.

🔹 Government-backed expansion
In addition to the new centres, 34 more schools will be upgraded with PPKI (Integrated Special Education Programme) blocks — giving more options for inclusion within mainstream schools.

🔹 Who qualifies?
Parents will need to prepare:
• OKU Card
• A recent diagnostic report
• Any Individual Education Plan (IEP), if available

These documents will be required for placement when enrolment begins.

🔹 When will this happen?
• Locations expected to be announced end of 2025
• Teacher & therapist recruitment starts early 2026
• Centre openings begin 2027 onwards, with one per state

💡 Tip: Now’s the time to ensure your child’s documents are up to date and stay connected with your State Education Office for updates.
