On 15–16 November 2025,
Dr Sin was invited to attend the International TCM Gynaecology Academic Conference,
organised by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies – Gynaecology Committee,
and was once again appointed as an Executive Council Member. 🏅
Patients often ask me,
“Why do you need to attend all these academic conferences?” 🤷🏻♀️

In any profession, you can choose to simply keep your head down and do the same work for the rest of your life. 👩🏻💻
But if you don’t keep improving yourself,
your knowledge will forever stay at the level it was
the day you graduated from university. ✋
The Earth never stops turning.
The world and technology are changing every single day. 🌎
By listening to experts from different countries
sharing their clinical experience in treating both new and old diseases at conferences, 🗣️
I get to reflect, gain new insights, and then apply and explore them in my own practice.
Through this process, no matter how diseases evolve,
I can still keep up with them,
understand what Western medicine is doing,
and truly understand what my patients are talking about.
Only by upgrading my professional skills,
can I have the ability to “speak” to the world. 💪🏻
With my TCM background, I can then exchange ideas
with experts in the same field from around the globe. 🤝
That is why I attend academic conferences to keep learning. 📚
